About Us
We have celebrated major milestones in the industry with our flagship production Umkhokha The Curse (Mzansi Magic) currently in its second season.
Before becoming a major player in television, Rhythm World was involved in a number of ground breaking events. The "Heal Yourself Concert" which brought together former exile musicians such as Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekela, Caiphus Semenya, Letta Mbulu and Jonas Gwangwa.
Rhythm World also initiated and produced The "Peace in our Land" project which brought South Africa to a standstill on September 2 1993 when the whole country went into the streets and held hands for more than 5 minutes. All major radio stations and televisions played the song "Peace in Our Land" at 12 noon that day.
